NEUTRAL

Why do you ask?

Are you on some kind of college course?

Do you know how an electrical circuit works? (clue: It usually has two wires, one for the electricity to flow "in" through and one for it to flow "out" through)

I don't know at what level your question is pitched.

WHATS A NEUTRAL DO

You registered to type 4 words, each containing one syllable. Not only that, you shouted them and they dont make any sort of English sense. Care to try again, perhaps going into a bit more depth about why you want to know, and being a bit more polite?

Whats a sillyable? :D

Neutral is exactly where im going to stay.

A neutral carries the current out a circuit E.g... Live cable brings it in to the light, the light uses the electricity and neutral "escorts" it back out thats a user friendly version
When you get an electric shock your kinda used as a neutral. The electricity is flowin to earth usin you

I fear for the safety of some people - the OP for example, i wonder why he needs to know what a neutral is. I mean, how has he got to his stage in life without knowing what a neutral is (or indeed how to spell, use grammer and punctuation and where his caps loack key is), and then suddenly have a dying need to know, worth registering on a DIY forum to ask it!
