Why would I not fit a contact? Personally, I would fit one every time unless there was a real issue with cabling (99% of the time its doable). Normally, I fit whatever is on the SDP.

Are you not worried a design may be incorrect and adjust as needed?

I would wish one of my lads point out a discrepancy if one arose.

As for your employers preference on setting, I cannot comment. It is their preference.
