Then can you get enough cable from the ceiling to strip back and connect?
don't forget to sleeve the earth wire. Just to make sure the earth wire goes back to the CU you can use a long length of flex or similar and WITH THE POWER OFF use a multimeter to check if there is a circuit.

It should not matter which goes in which terminal as it will still work, and if you find and earth, looks like you connect that to the pozi headed screw.
Surprised it's not double insulated though.

Looks like a philips screw to me!
