New Build - Verge Cap Fitment

Hi,

Following the poor lead flashing fitment that I posted previously. I now have an issue with water ingress into the internal garage. Water is finding its way into the house via the poor lead flashing but I have also noticed that there are voids / gaps between the stonework and the verge caps. I assume there shouldn't be gaps like this (see pictures attached)? This is a very exposed wall and suffers from driving rain.

It seems that the stonework is badly cut, it should be cut to the same line as the rafters so that this problrm would not occur.

It is a shame that a lot of new build is very poor, mainly because of un realistic build programs and out of sequence works caused by the poor programing.

It's poor because the workers are crap, poorly skilled and poorly trained.

Nothing to do with programming

I am sorry but i do not agree, most tradesmen have worked on sites and got fed up with the agents and programers setting stupid targets and insisting on out of sequence works.

The influx of semi skilled east europeans does not help but they are not to blame for all of it.

The developers should employ more direct labour and accept responsibility for building properly not sub out all the work to companys who themselves sub the work out and pay peanuts.

Looks like the brickwork was built for a bedded undercloak rather than cloaked verge.. A communication issue I expect either between trades and or site foreman
