can anyone help???
After some advice on how to get my new business out there to my customers (and please no sarcastic remarks )
Basically, whats the best way to advertise before you have the luxuary of word of mouth and recomendation?
any ideas or advice please

I my case I happened to come across the little advertiser paper that had all the local trades in, and the local housewives all swear by it - they think of it as the Bible, as far as local trades are concerned. get an ad in that sort of publication and you'll soon start to get calls.

Make it clear in your ad that you are indeed local. Mine even says "Oakleaf. A local company"

You'd be amazed what a difference it makes
