we have just replaced our lead pipes with copper ones.the water in our shower now often runs cold for a while then goes hot. is there anything we can do to get it back to runnin hot all the time. Cheers a cold and wet Danny

Where does the pipe run go? What sort of shower is it?. What sort of bolier do you have? Are the pipes insulated?. You need to supply more detail before people will post possible answers to your question.

Its not unusual for hot pipes to run cold for a while, if they are fed from a cylinder, even if the pipes are insulated, the standing water will eventually cool.

Thank you nstreet for reply. New pipes run from outside link to water mains. Not insulated but niether were the lead pipes. It is a combi boiler.During a 3 minute shower goes cold at least twice. Hope this will elicit useful answer Cheers Danny

The boiler is a combi boiler worcester 280. Since getting copper pipes shower runs hot and cold unwantedly.
