Hi people's, I have a large workshop of 25ft by 17ft. It was built by a company 10 years ago with that bitumasstic Onduline roofing sheets over flake board as recommended by them to last for 30 years! Anyhow, it has leaked since new with the company not interested. 10 years down the line it's time for replacement. I want to go for a corrugated tin roof now for reliability etc. The roof has flake boarding under it to support, of which has suffered water damage in several areas. If I go tin roofing, do I go for just tin and put roofing felt over the boarding to stop moisture between tin and boarding. Or do I go for tin with a moisture Barrier and get shot of the flakeboard altogether?
