Hi got the double glazing done couple months ago.
Got the fensa but no invoice or warranty in writing. Fitting company saying the fensa is your warranty. Verbally 10 years for upvc, 5 years glass and 2 years handles. Are they correct or should i get it in writing from them?

Fensa isn't a warranty, its a self certification scheme which allows installers to sign off their own work, they have to purchase a warranty and pass it on to you

So i should chase them up to give me the warranty in writing?

Absolutely, a fensa certificate is only a certificate of compliance not a guarantee or warranty, verbal warranties mean **** when it comes to an issue, it all needs to be laid out in writing and not a chat about what's covered and for how long

its worth pointing out a trade symbol or claimed ability and skill is just that ------unless backed up by a recognized independent organization and any fees paid for support or insurance based support

claiming to be part off a trade organization or having backing off_____ needs to be fully checked
