Bought a new DeWalt DCD776 drill yesterday and encountered a problem when I went to insert a bit. Turning the chuck to open the jaws, nothing happens apart from getting a clicking sound similar to the torque sound on my other drills. Can't find any info regarding this in the manual. Any ideas anybody?

fully open/close the chuck then try again should only happen once in a blue moon if it happens regularly take it back

i think its if you loosely tighten it wont undoo till you fully tighten

Do you have torque setting on Zero ?
