My expanding garden hose recently split. However, considering I bought it not long after these hoses first appeared, it hasn't done badly at all. It hasn't been treated particularly gently either. When I bought this one, there was not really any choice, however, now there are dozens. They seem to have quoted supply pressures from 0.8 bar!! to 12 bar, varying grades of sheathing material and varying coupling materials from plastic to solid brass via yellow coloured aluminium.
I suppose you get what you pay for but I don't want to spend more than I really need to. The hose will mostly be used to supply an extending window cleaning brush and a pressure washer. Any advice welcome.
