Hi All

I am getting a new fitted kitchen in a new extension, currently it has studs installed at 400m centres.

All of the units that are being installed will be at worktop level and high level so I would need to install noggins across the whole length to carry these.

This would be two noggins between each stud, is this enough?

Also should I put one in at the top and the bottom to carry the plasterboard (12.5mm)?

To be honest I would ask the kitchen company at what height they want them if you're having it fitted.

If not have a look on the wall units at the set back and how large the wall plates are, where the fixing holes come etc first and work it out from there.
