So, the aforementioned MEM 800KFM, can anyone confirm it takes a BS1361 Type IIa fuse?

The listings i've found seem to just vaguely say 80A HRC fuse, but that isnt particularly definitive.

If so, does anyone know if these are readily available in 20 or 25A ratings? I've found a few vague mentions of them, for instance here:

But cant seem to find anywhere that sells them.

Yes, those are the ones. They are readily available in 60A, 80A, 100A (for example, click here), but I've personally never seen ones lower than 60A.
