lookin 2 replace old garage with a new larger one up to 3 boundaries now I need to demolish all or part of the garage to accurately measure for the new concrete sectional garage now I know I need planning and building regs after talking to LBO
now if I get planning refused can I rebuild the old garage to the same size

check whether you have permitted development rights on your property - if you don't then you'll have to apply for planning to rebuild the garage if you demolish it.. don't assume you can demolish without permission either - find out!

why do you need to demolish the garage to get an accurate measure?

no walls in the rear yard are square and as its concrete panels there is no room 4 erroe

did you cosider that it might be easier to drill a hole in the structure and pass a tape through it, than demolish it then get the tape out?
