New Home: radiators not heating up

ok tried the other valves on each rad all open fully apart from my room rad was almost completely closed so opened up fully and closed about 1/8 turn to prevent sticking....one rad screw cap was seized so need to get a set of mole grips on it...other rads in extension are new type double convector/double panel and are a large hex head..... a bit scared to loosen them but they are slighty hotter than the rest as I suspected as the they are better rads there and also that pipework in the new extension is probably insulated so def getting some flow.

Interesting tried switching the boiler heating control to min...and there was no change....heating stayed on (burner + heating light)

turned the room stat controller way down to 8C and also no change....heating and burner light stayed on.

The boiler stat is probably kaput.

The room stat could be faulty.

You need someone on site to diagnose and repair.
