new house - front door lock

UPVC door with central locking and top/bottom bolts.

The central bolt on the front door engages, but not the top and bottom bolts. And the key turns without resistance several times.

Door/window repair bod has said:

"It sounds like it could be an issue with the locking mechanism. If it requires replacing the estimated cost would be £245+vat depending on what lock I would need to order."

Does this sound reasonable?

Let's suppose a new lock mechanism costs around £100 and he charges you £150 for his time.

on mine you push the handle up firmly to engage

and on mine if outside you insert the key and turn it. There's no handle. If inside, you turn the knob (see picture)

Looks like a AV2 or 3 slam lock, probably Winkhaus, £150ish retail plus 30% mark up plus labour so probably about right
