Hi all

We need to completely replace a kitchen on a house we’ve inherited. We’ve had quotes from kitchen suppliers to do the entire job but want to see how much of a saving can be made by sourcing the units separately and getting in various trades people - might be very little. Not sure of the right sequence. Is it:
  1. Remove old kitchen units and worktops
  2. Remove old wall tiles
  3. Put in power and relocate any plumbing work
  4. Re-plaster to smooth walls etc
  5. Install new kitchen?

Thanks.

Fine, assuming floor is to stay , extractor has exit point? Lighting?

Thanks for your quick reply foxhole. Good to know we’re on the right track. Flooring will be coming out. Good point about lighting. I guess it makes sense to put that in before the kitchen goes in?

Are you haveing under cupboard lights. Electrics for an extractor, and drill the exit hole before the wall unts go in.

Basically, you're on the right track though.
