Hi

I am looking to buy a pair of High Neck Pillar Taps for my kitchen sink as the ones I got recently were something of a disappointment - as I described in my previous thread :-
https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/is-this-normal-for-taps.486940/

Can anyone recommend any good tap brands and maybe give some links on where to buy them? I am willing to pay the extra for quality - no cheap rubbish for me this time!

I am going to buy them myself and get a plumber to fit them - I am assuming the screw thread and pipe size etc is all very standard for a kitchen sink and I don't need to worry about checking it?

I looked at these :-

Is this a good quality tap ?

What about this :-

I do not want any spray type nozzle or flow regulator of any kind.

Thank you

it depends on your taste what it looks like, but Bristan make good taps and I like the Regency, because the knobs on the capstan can easily be operated even with soapy or greasy hands.

You may find them cheaper on fleabay.

Some like the lever-operated taps as used in hospitals, you can turn them off with your elbow.
