I currently have a live feed starting at the consumer unit which goes from one light to another until it reaches the last light. Wherever appropriate, we have the switch cables too. I’ve opted to loop in the ceiling rose.
I don’t think any of the above will be a surprise.
Q. If I wanted to add a new light with its own switch, do I have to take this feed from the last light or can I take it from any of the lights earlier in this line?
