hey guys

i recently bought a new light switch a dimable one i have bought one of these in the past and had no problem wiring it up but in the bedroom seems to be wired differently and theres 3 brown wires (i dont think this is right) there is no marking on any of the brown wires below is a image of what it looks like:

there is one into l1 and two brown wires into l2 and nothing into l3.

the new light switch i bought dosnt have any l1 l2 or l3 markings it has live, slave and load.

my question is how do i wire this is safely and properly...

ps if i wire it up wrong will i injure myself or ruin the whole eletrics in the house.

ps below is the pdf of the light switch i have bought.

no but this is the interesting thing if i unwire the switch then the bathroom light dosnt work and the 2nd bedroom light dosnt work?

It is simply a loop in at the switch, the power comes down one cable and loops back to another cable for the lights further down the circuit - you'll probably find a piece of terminal block in the back with the blue neutrals in.
Simply, the two wires both go to the live on the new switch, the one on its own goes to the load.
If the switch is metal and has an earth terminal then you need to ensure it is earthed too.

clearly the two browns in L2 are the permanent lives and the brown in L1 is the switched live to the light.

ok guys i done that but the bedroom light still isnt switchin on or off, the other lights are still working

yh that was the problem changed the bulb works perfectly. it was a energy efficient bulb that wasnt working any reason why this would be
