New Mira Sport shower fitting problem

Wondering if anyone could give me some advice, just had fitted a Mira Sport 9kw shower (replacement) and when the water was turned on at the isolating valve to test for leaks, water began flowing through the shower and coming out of the outlet, with the shower still being stitched off. Any ideas what could be the issue?

Are you sure the power supply to the shower was definitely off ?
Is it the air boost model ?
If there was definitely no power to the shower ,and water ran right through and out the hose ,the solenoid would appear to have failed / stuck in the open position.

Many thanks for the reply, yes it is the air boost model and you were right turns out the valve assembly arm was stuck in the up position activating the microswitch (even though shower purchased brand new from Screwfix) a bit of pressure released the arm/solenoid and the shower now works as it should! Thought I would give an update in case the same happens to anybody else.
