I've jumped in at the deep end any broken up my old concrete patio in preparation for putting down some paving slabs instead. Lots of rocks left in the base (all the really big stuff in the skip), can someone advise the next step - MOT, sand or sand+cement mix to level it? Or something else? Area is 3m x 4.8m. I have a skip and a wacker plate on standby!

Thanks

Depends on your levels. You'd need at least 2 t of mot to fill those large voids between the rubble. Take out or break up anything larger than half a brick then spread and compact some MOT. Then lay your slabs on a bed of mortar.
