new phone

Today I synched my camera to
Windows xp sp2
This was ok

I have a second phone, it has a cd ,
I put it in and it first updated outlook , it then said plug phone in ,
I did so but it did not work,
the computer diagnosed the fault as no connection to the device

I used the same lead for the camera and that works ok.

This disc was tried last year and failed, and the computer when switched on still reminds me it failed ( as per other post) could that be problem
Any ideas

Try downloading the latest software from the phone manufacturers website, if that doesnt work you may have a conflict with other software?

It is a spv m700
I think there samsung

Just did a quick google and it looks like it accepts any Windows mobile 5 software

I think I need to sort out the wizard problem on my other post, as I am quessing that dont help.

I will then try what you suggest thanks

When I plug this phone in now it is disabling the wireless adapter and switching the network device

I will leave it for now though and retry asap,and let you know
