I thought they did a U-turn on it?

I was all for it, I remember my dad being refused planning permission to turn his garage into a room, as it had to be used for parking, despite have a driveway, and not owning a car.

Consultation finished in December so it will be months yet. But don't bank on it though. The huge majority of responses were negative. Personally I think it will bring about a huge number of complaints and neighbour issues and the benefits of the change are very tenuous. I'll be very surprised if it gets off the ground.
