I have a 25 year old Ideal Standard conventional boiler and recently the pump went. I replaced the pump with a GRUNFOS 15/60 pump and since then the pipes into the boiler, all radiators and also hot water are never more than lukewarm even when the room thermostat and the boiler hot water thermostat are put at very high (max) settings. Any ideas?

Have you touched the thermostat on the boiler?
Is the pump Working?

...and are the pipes full of air and did one of the pump valves stick shut? Did you bleed the pump and make sure its shaft spins?

Thanks ChrisR. Re-drained system, made sure to bleed all rads, pump etc, system now working A1 !
