New recommendation panel

I have an old wired alarm panel with pirs in most rooms and reed switch style door contacts on most external doors.
I really need to upgrade the whole thing including pirs esp as my garage Was recently broken into by a group I'm sure you know what I'm referring to.
That aside any recommendations on replacing the panel with another wired unit or scrapping it all and going for something like a wireless pyronix?

How many zones ? Stick with hardwired if possible and what features do you require ?

Thanks Sparky well, zone wise i would something like:

Garage
Front Gate
Front door
Rear doors
Windows living area
Windows bedrooms area

Features i guess SMS/email
Garage and or house door sensors at night
Entry beep maybe a photosensor threshold across front drive entrance
interopability with my HiKvision DVR.

With that in mind any particular panel?

Pyronix euro 46 or texecom elite , euro probably better to intergrate with hikvision
