New roof looks dodgy?

In this demo they advise re 10-15mm drape between rafters, however the guy doing the demo install seems to be ignoring the rule, unless the drape is there but not evident at the distance filmed.

 
I was wondering how the roof membrane is fitted loose in practical terms.

my guess is that you roll out the membrane across the roof then work across stapling a rafter at a time, pulling a bit of slack into each section as you go.
All works ok on calm days. Windy days - nigh on impossible.
 
Is that like the ventilation gap from eaves to ridge in a pitched roof.
If you look at the first picture the OP posted, you can see the batons because the membrane is too tight, which stifles airflow and in turn encourages mold to form.
 
So any issues that you see with the work based on the photos?
