New slate choice for old slate roof

I plumped for Spanish slate. I had chosen some Canadian slate but the supplier mucked about when theoretical delivery push came to actual delivery shove

I went to a local supplier and found a very similar tile that actualy came about £1,200 cheaper.

In my experience the real art is your roofers and how careful they are in sorting/grading the slates post delivery and then the skill with which they're installed
