I need to replace an existing cast iron soil pipe with a plastic one.
The existing one is concreted into the ground. Can I cut the existing one at the bottom and attach the new plastic one via a collar, or will I have to break up the concrete and remove the whole lot?
Thanks.

you can cut above the floor and add a connector then plastic in to the connector.

if you can cut and leave the bottem 3" you can fit a timesaver coupling which will bolt the cast and plastic together
