new sounder backplate

Hi I am replacing my old bellbox for a klaxon xtra different design from old unit (not vertical). just one thing that concerns me is the alarm cable. I have noticed that the klaxon sounders have a tight backplate that is almost flat to the wall I am concerned about the alarm cable being crushed as the cable hole from the wall will not be in the same position as the designated cable entry on the unit. will this be an issue? hope this is clear thanks.

No they are never flat ! there is always room behind for the cable .
