New thermostat!

So my old thermostat was an Invensys PT-5 attached to a combi boiler and it was a two-wire application with only the yellow and red wires used -

The manufacturer informs me the replacement must be a Digistat +3 model number 22083 -

My question is, which wires do I fit into the Drayton? Just the yellow and the red? If so, where do they go? Which wire goes in C, ON and OFF?

Red and Yellow to C and ON. It doesn't matter which way round.

That one can be used, but so could many other thermostats - 'must' is incorrect.

or

Red to ON and Yellow to C

It doesn't matter, you can choose.
