I'm looking for a bit of advice re. toilets. I have to fit a new one this week and looking at the budget/mid range I have seen this:

Now Armitage shanks is a name everyone knows very well. Are they still a good brand? The alternative is this one which after a multi-buy discount comes in a good £35 cheaper.

Thanks in advance - things that are important to me are quality and ease of fitting - the Armitage has a lifetime guarantee on the ceramics and doesn't look like it uses the stupid plastic L brackets to secure the pan to the floor.

Cheers

Yes Shanks is still a good buy. Mine has been in use for 25 years with no problems and only one change of syphon.
