Hi
I have dug out ground floor and put down new slab with steel mesh and DPM etc. Should I have the screed laid before or after dry lining?
I can see that it would be beneficial to lay screed after dry lining to save on mess, but I can't help but think there would be gaps between the bottom of the door linings and the stairs as with the best will in the world, it's unlikely I can get them mm perfect; and if they're too long and end up in the screed they will suck up moisture and likely cause cracking (once doors are slammed etc).
Anybody who has previously done UFH on a refurb project I would love to know how you did it (and see any pics if poss).
Cheers
