Hi,
We've just installed wet under floor heating and it's now time to turn it on - couldn't come any sooner, since temperatures outside have plummeted!
Question is, what temperature should it be started at and how much should we turn it up each day???
I started it off at 7 degC last night and have now upped it to 9 degC, but the concrete floor just feels just as cold as before - no sign of any vague warmth.
The ambient temperature in the room is around 10 degC.
Any advice from professionals who have experience installing and running UFH?
How much can we turn it up each day, without risking damaging the concrete floor?
It's really cold and I'd like to know how soon we can start to feel the benefit, assuming that it's working of course...
