I think some are confusing far right with Tory, and similarly, far left with Labour.
Hopefully neither party are extreme, although there are more and less extremists within the parties. Hopefully, BBC do not give much air time to the extreme far right or the far left.
But usually, both Tory supporters, and Labour supporters accuse the other of being at the extreme of their persuasion, and usually associate the political persuasion as an insult.
I suspect that similarly, Labour supporters would argue that Fiona gives too much leeway to Tory representatives.
I personally think that Nadhim Zahawi speaks a lot of flannel, repeating what we already know, almost like he is just using up airtime to prevent others speaking. If Fiona thinks the same, she is surely correct to interrupt him and bring him back to the topic. Additionally he interrupts the other panelists , especially those of the opposite persuasion, far too much, and should be restrained from doing so. With Nadhim Zahawi, it's very much a case of, "you must listen to my opinion, I'm not interested in yours".
I, too, don't make a habit of watching it since David left, and think Fiona is pants at the job. But they are big boots to fill.
Andrew Neil would have been a better chair.
I do, as of late, make a habit of watching Newsnight, especially Emily Maitlis.
