NICEIC DI

Not necessarily DIY - the screws in the earth block could be shagged so the DNO might have done that (hopefully)

The carpet is the neatest part of that install.
:D

Doubt the DNO were involved, as the seal dissapears.

How can someone consider themselves competent to fill in these certs when they do this kinda thing.

There's a tiddly wire going from the MET off screen, probably a PEB??
Also no sign next to MET (Safety electrical connection, do not remove)
Can't make out how good the top entry is for cables on board
Has used a premier brand of board

Isn't that one of those meters which has a separate compartment for the DNO side so the bottom cover doesn't need sealed?
Also has an isolator switch in it?

Looks like different models of MCB's - are they all the same? Don't know if that's a problem though?

Is the protective earth bonding undersized? It looks like the original bonding anyway.

those meters have two sets of covers and seals, that has one?
and there is a label to say there is a switch

small2

lol i was gonna say the same thing

Are these seriously "legit electricians" wow standards have dropped

IP rating of case compromised with top cable entry

MCB's not in order of rating and different types

Date of next inspection is 5 years (thought it was 10 for domestic if installation is in good order, which it should be if you have agreed to change the board ?)

Not much in the way of main bonding usually see gas and water, but could be no gas?

No safety electrical connection tag

Not sure whats going on at the head, but it looks like tns and tncs ?

Undersized earthing conductor

Those tails coming from the meter into the board must be entering at a funny angle

No evidence of DNO visit to isolate the board before and after replacement (no seals)

no labels for MPB

board and meter to close will make difficult to open and close

On the first photo it looks like some green cable is joined with yellow tape, where has that gone

MCBs not in rating order? Which regulation does that contravene?

Ten years is a recommended maximum, not an absolute. The tester :) could have seen something ( eg trend with previous test results :) ) to make them feel that ten years before a further test could pose a potential problem.
