Hi All,
It looks like part P is coming, and the above is essential for me to continue, I currently refurbish houses and Re-wire / modify where necessary, I have my 16th edition and Testing inspection qualifications however the point of my life story is - I don't get loads of practice testing and would like any advise on the best way forward. namely in the following areas,
1, The best way of getting 2 suitable Installations for inspection purpose. (I sell the properties after re-furb- so don't really have a client list)
2, Info on what Diagrams are required for an installation - I do sketches and circuit diagrams but are there standards??
3, General hints and tips from anybody who has done this.

Have you tried asking them? Seriously - they are competing with 4 or 5 other schemes for the right to empty your wallet, and they want you to pass their tests. Give them a ring.

I Spoke to a nice at lady at niceic who told me she would send me all the relevant info - when it came it was the application from!! - I want to do it, but, as per the post I want as much info before I cough up the £325 plus vat, at which point it's too late (non-refundable fee) and or £175 + vat re-inspection fee.

Try eca they may be more help, i am niceic approved it can be a pain in the arse, as far as i am aware you have to assessed by a regulated body not regestered with them!
