Nigel Farage admits his election promises were bogus

Not the point I was trying to make

You another party member ??

As to your edit I never offered a view about that one way or the other

Neither do I give a jot if you agreed with it or not
So you don't actually have an opinion on WFA. Do you hold an opinion on anything? Or are you just anti-Labour? Or anti-politics in general? Complaining about everything at your local Wetherspoons. And no, I am not a member of any political party. Really intelligent conversation you have.

There are 14 councils in the UK where over 50% of the council tax take is spent on council pensions. Average country wide is about 24%.
And your point is? If those are pensions that have been promised to those workers, then they should be upheld. Do you disagree? Incidentally, the majority of public sector pensions are tiny, a few thousand a year. (For context, there are around 315 councils in England alone.)

The class snobbery in this stinks. Surely you can make your point without it. I hope when he returns, he rips you a new ass hole quite frankly.

This came from the taxpayers alliance…..I’d need to see the source data before believing.

Far rage’s greatest skill is his self promotion. Gullible voters will reason that because other parties have failed to deliver, re form will. That they possess an inherent ability to run the country, and to manage the economy. What next 30 pee Lee as chancellor of the exchequer.

Surely you must have been on the booze when you voted Michael Foot.

I'm simply saying that your statement "the vast proportion of council taxes is spent on statutory services for children and old folk" is a load of old bollix..
Chosen at random: Birmingham Council for 24/25. I think you need some better evidence for your statement.

Basically, Farage has stated what he NEEDS to do to turn this country around and as we approach the next general election, he will be saying HOW he will do it.

A no brainer........move on!
but Farage wants to slash the size of the state, privatise the NHS, deregulate

all Farage would so is make the wealthy more wealthy and ordinary people worse off

Farage is just a right populist, a mini Trump

dont listen to what he says, listen to his actions...........Farage is a man who has Belgium residency so he doesnt pay tax here

but thats not total council revenue, they’ve excluded business rates, grants, fees and charges from revenue.

these days jobs in the private sector get better pensions

I'm sure you can tell us who supports paying people not to work, without good reason
There are significant areas of some communities, actually some towns, where many (most?) are on benefits, have been on benefits for years, with a significant percentage of those being perfectly happy to be on benefits and not working.

Yes there's another discussion to be had around this i.e. have they been conditioned into a life on benefits due to lack of opportunity etc. Nevertheless, the FACT remains, there are many on benefits who are perfectly happy to be so. It's just that the wokey tree-hugging lefties don't like to admit it. According to them, practically everyone on benefits would rather work.

Nah ;)

And of course what work is available in those areas.

But don't let details get in the way of headlines

Is just rubbish
