Nissan Micra 95 Starting Problems

I am having problems starting it fires up but runs on 1 or 2 cylinders and after gently using the accelerator it will run but needs a few minutes to warm up before i feel happy to run it if i drive to early at times it misses i have replaced the plugs,fuel and air filter

You need to check for the strength of the spark. If 1 and 4 or 2 and 3 are weak then it is usually the ECU. (they work in pairs).

If I remember rightly that model has a distributor, I'd have a wee look in there too. There's nothing serviceable in there so nobody takes the cap off, that's why it's worth looking at the inside of it.

Sounds like a basic problem of leads / plugs breaking down.
When did it last have a proper service?
