Nissan micra dot l reg 1994 help!

Hi my friend had a accident in her nissan micra L reg (94) she drove it off the road out of the way and parked it up she only has drivers wing/ door/ rear quarter damage! Now it won't start! Is there a safety cut off switch I should be looking for?"
