Hi anybody any ideas why my Nissan Micra L 1994 seems to have very low revs when idling. She has actually cut out and stalled at lights once. To stop her from doing this you have to give her a bit of gasnow and then while waiting.

Hi anybody any ideas why my Nissan Micra L 1994 seems to have very low revs when idling. She has actually cut out and stalled at lights once. To stop her from doing this you have to give her a bit of gas now and then while waiting. By the way i have only had her 2 weeks.
Unless she has been serviced by the previous owners themselves according to the service record she hasn't had one since 1998

As the last reply suggested your car could really do with a full service brakes checked as well as it hasn't been serviced for such a long time. This will increase your cars performance and reduce fuel cost when running properly.
Thanks will take the advice above and have her serviced. She passed her mot at the beggining of July so the brakes should be fine
