No central heating (shiver, shiver)

Someone help! Our boiler is heating up hot water but not the radiators hence, we have no heating. The radiators have been bled but with no avail. Any ideas on what to do and how much it would cost to get the problem fixed?

Hmmmmmmmm apparently its a Glow-worm fuelsaver type thing. Is that enough info? Not quite sure where to look for the details.

have a look round the boiler /airing cupboard etc for a lump of cast iron

Think I've found it as I can hear running water through the pipes when I switch the water and heating on.

can you describe your system

is there a motorised valve on it

possible that your diverter or zone valve is at fault , you do have your room thermostat turned too max!!! ?

I can't find a box with wires. The CH and water is controlled by a Potterton EP2000 timer thing, and we have an emersion in the airing cupboard. There aren't many wires at all around the system. The room thermostat isn't on max either
