No heating or hot water :(

I dont know if anyone can help but I have had no heating since friday someone come out today and has apparently fitted a new valve and fixed it when I got home from work I had no electric no heating or hot water but it had been on. I have the electric back on now as it had tripped. My problem still is no hot water or heating I have a Centaurplus C27 programmer which is off if I press the set button it turns on and straight back off I have changed the battery but it has made no difference its still doing the same. I rent and have spoken to the estate agents who were in the least bit interested and told me tough i will have to wait until tomorrow and accused me of misusing it. How I will never know when I have been at work all day. If anyone has any ideas please fire them this way me and my 9 year old son are freezing and to top it all I am ill. Thanks

No simple fix I'm afraid. Sounds like water is shorting the electrics on the heating system somewhere.

Press both the set and ch buttons at the same time. Then release them. This will reset the programmer

Oh no! Thank you for the reply anyway. Looks like we will have to freeze and shower elsewhere until sorted. Thanks

Problems like this usually point to the pump. This can trip the electric.
