My old central heating system seems to be playing up. Boiler is okay but we're only getting heat to the rads but no hot water. However, hot water seems to arrive if we adjust the thermostats on a couple of rads up to max. (or at least above 3). Coincidence or a clue to the problem? Before I get an engineer in anyone got any ideas of what I could check?
FYI - system is an old and Conventional boiler (replaced 6 years ago) with original hot water cylinder. Timer on cylinder seems to be working fine.
