Possibly silver box on lower left of picture has stuck in heating position.
 
would suggest a problem with your 3 port valve, the silver box with 3 pipes going into it

Slide the lever over to the right, does it spring back.

Your problem could be.

A, an electrical fault, no power to the valve perhaps.
B, the valve is stuck in the heating position.
C, air in the pipe, have you vented that thing by the cylinder.
 
Apologies MOD (newbie mistake!!)

The lever does not spring back.

A) Should be power as it's also powering the pump(Grundfos)
B) Fair enough
C) The thing by the cylinder and venting mmmm do you mean the pump?

if it dont spring back its stuck, you have tu turn the power off todoit.

c, no the little cap on the top of the pipe by the cylinder
