hi,just got back from a few days away and i have no hot water.central heating seems fine as radiators areon-plese advise as i have not got a clue with stuff like this.thanks

hot water tank in cupboard,myson boiler.Last week or so when switching hot water on or off there have been grinding/whirring noises coming from near tank.A friend has said this might be a diverter valve.Could this be right?
