No Hot Water

Hi guys

I have no Hot Water.

I have a normal, old school system with a boiler, hot water tank and cold water tank and smaller tank in the loft.

If anyone can help, please, I would be so greatful.

so you've got a open vented system boiler, do you kno the make and model?
does the ch work ok?
is it a fully pumped system or gravity hw?

if gravity check ya lil tank in ya loft
if fully pumped id be lookin at the motorised valve

gas_man_gaz: why do you suggest header tank if gravity H/W? CH is also fed from this tank and it seems only HW is the fault?

Harry seems to be a little short of detail !

The usual suggestion is that he should call a competent heating engineer to diagnose the problem.

We probably have at least one forum member in his area.

wen the f+e tank on gravity hw pumped htg sys is dry the hw norm packs up 1st
