Crystal ball is in for repair sooo im guessing its Because the boiler fairys dislike you.

not sure whay system it is, i know its old, aint got a clue about plumbing, thought there might be a quick fix, if not ill have to ring a plumber cheers

check you've got water in the F&E tank (small one in loft, usually)

If it's a combi boiler then its prob the diverter valve, if it's not it's prob the zone valve.
