i turned off the water yesterday and drained down the central heating and then fitted a new radiator in the bathroom and extended the shower pipes (i've put in a new shower) turned all the water back on but no hot water comes through, the boilers working ok and the water tanks in the roof are ok. could there be air in the system somewhere ? if so how do i get it out...

any help greatly appreachiated..

thanks,

Is there any water flow or no HW? On your shower, taps? Check all the valves you turned off, if you have no flow search airlock on the forum.

there's no hot water, i've got water coming out of all the taps,

thanks

It sounds as though you have a conventional system? Are your radiators ok? I know it sounds daft but retrace your steps when you did the work if everything was ok before it's usual to overlook the obvious now. What heats your HW?

yes it's a conventional system, all the radiators are getting hot and i've got all the air out of them, the boiler heats the hw...

thanks...
