Woke up this morning to find no water coming from the hot water taps upstairs, this includes the shower, bath tap and basin tap.

Everything is working fine from the cold taps (up and downstairs) and hot water taps are fine downstairs. Radiators working fine too.

Everything was ok when last checked at 1am this morning.

The boiler is a Valiant Ecotec Plus 831.

There are no errors coming up on the display and the pressure is reading 2.6 bar.

The boiler has been installed for just over a year now and have had no problems until today.

Could someone please help.

If your getting hot water downstairs but not up it's a plumbing problem not a boiler problem. Sounds like you have a blockage. Don't think an air lock would do it because the water is under mains pressure and would force the air out. Good luck...

Thanks, I've come to think it could be frozen pipes, although not sure why the cold water ones would not also be frozen and not working as they would be running next to the hot.

Had a garage conversion done and the pipes run through the flat roof and into the bathroom. Could be lack of insulation that have caused the pipes to freeze.

Just left the taps open and put the house on full heating. Hoping it may sort it out in a few hours so I can have a shower!
