Noisy Boiler Problem

Hi,

We have a boiler in our kitchen and its not programmed to come on until 7am and off at 10am and then 4pm to 10pm - this is just for hot water as we do not need heating on at this time of year.

However, it seems to power up/down every five minutes constantly, making a loud vibrating wallowing noise and then off. Five minutes later it fires up again. The thermostat is turned down.

Not really sure what can be causing this - its causing sleepless nights and having to keep on re-programming this boiler.

Any advice as what it could be??

You have not told us boiler make model and system you have so how can anyone comment.
Let me guess it is a white one.
